www.machineeconomy.co.uk · @DePIN_Doc. Machines and models first. Networks when they change the work.

The week’s machine-economy news is not a new humanoid. It is plumbing: proof a machine is real, proof a person is real, and processors a robot might hire.

A plain account of what changes when robots and other machines can identify themselves, prove work, and settle for it.
What a robot is made of
Humanoids get the photograph. The work is actuators, power, perception, a small computer, and software that fails in boring ways.
Physical AI
A language model can describe a doorway. A robot has to pass through it without taking the frame along.
DePIN in plain language
Someone puts a useful machine in the world. The network checks the work. The person who runs it is paid for the service.
