A Latvian interceptor met Anduril’s software. The release does not count the hits
ORIGIN and Anduril said on 5 November that, at the end of October, they showed Latvia’s senior military a counter-drone interceptor, BLAZE, working through Anduril’s Lattice software and a radar already in Latvian service. Anduril’s Europe lead said the integration took four days and produced a successful engagement. The note gives no score, and it says testing continues.

ORIGIN and Anduril said on 5 November, from Riga, that they had demonstrated a joint system to senior Latvian military leadership. The demonstration was at the end of October, at a military training facility in Latvia. BLAZE, ORIGIN’s autonomous counter-drone interceptor, was the effector. It ran through Anduril’s Lattice command-and-control software, beside a radar Latvia already uses for air defence. The memorandum to explore that pairing was signed on 25 September. A demonstration in front of commanders is not a purchase.
Brian Moran, Anduril’s vice president for Europe, said it took four days on the ground in Latvia to integrate BLAZE into Lattice and to demonstrate a successful engagement. A successful engagement, in his words, is one claimed result. The release does not say what the target was, whether anyone else scored the pass, or how many attempts failed. Martins Marenis, ORIGIN’s commercial director, said interceptors that plug into a shared command layer give operators better visibility than machines that work alone. That is an argument for the architecture. It is not a hit rate. Resilience Media, quoting Marenis, reported that the demonstration was a live airborne intercept: a ground radar found the target and Lattice passed the track to BLAZE. That is his account of the one demonstration. It is not a tally.
The companies say they will continue joint testing and validation on NATO’s eastern flank, and will develop a concept of operations for counter-drone missions. Continuing is the opposite of finished. The note names no order, no price and no number of interceptors.
